Hola readers! Hope your week is off to a great start. You know the drill, another Tuesday, another anime look and today I bring you yet again a makeup inspired in the anime movie Wonderful Wonder World or Alice in the Country of Hearts (劇場版ハートの国のアリス), this time is about Lorina, Alice's older sister. Keeping in theme with last week's look, I used gold as well. Hope you all like it ^^
Lorina Liddell appears quite briefly at the beginning of the movie but her dress, voice and overall sweetness really made a lasting impression on me so I decided to do an inspired look of her, despite her character not being one of the main ones. Bordeaux and gold go so well together, even more so when some glitter is involved. How did you like this one? : )
Products used / Productos usados: Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 / V2 palettes (Pout / Highness, Paper Bag, Villan and Noir), Coastal Scents Hot Pot in ME08, MUA Cosmetics glitter liner in 04, MUG gel liner in Immortal, random mascara. Brushes: Bdellium Tools.

I love the gold glitter, it looks so perfect with the hot pink shadow. Although, I always like to see your creative looks; so inspiring! xx
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jordan! I try and do one of each, one more "wearable" and one outrageous LOL xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Traci! Glad you stopped by xx
ReplyDeleteI adore any eyeshadow combo with any combination of red and gold tones. I think those are two colors that forever look simply lovely together. Beautiful work, Lau. The touch of glitter is restrained in a good way.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love the gold glitter liner! Something about a smattering of glitter makes anything a touch more special :) And you're right, it goes beautifully with bordeaux!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Leah! I'm really glad you like it, you're a sweetheart darling! ♥ xx

ReplyDeleteThis bright look also reminds me of the Japanese masks. Daruma? Darma? Something like that.

That streak of gold makes all the difference. Great job! How long do you wear your eye makeup looks for before you take them off?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jayne, I love gold glitter ^^ If something is bothering my eyes I'd take it off right away (like falsies falling into the wrong place or too much glitter/powder going into my eyes), if everything is ok I'll enjoy the looks (I do one on each eye to save time!) until I go to bed : )
